How to optimize the image after you scan it

1. Open scanned image
   File -> Open -> (find the choose scanned image)
    
2. Find and click on Crop Tool
   
   
    
3. Point mouse to the center of the image to be cut out from the whole picture, Press Shift & Alt keys and hold them while dragging the mouse cursor to desired edge of the image This operation will form bright squire; you can release Shift & Alt and adjust bright squire to designed size and shape
    
4. When done go Image -> Crop, unneeded background will be cut out.
    
5. Make image 100% in size by pressing CTRL +
    
6. Adjust image quality:
   • Image -> image size - change to resolution 72 pix and change the size to 300x300
      
   • Filter sharpen -> try to make picture sharper
      
   • Image -> adjust -> brightnerss / contrast - adjust if needed for better picture
   
    
7. Save as image to you computer.
